Description

Leyland Cypress is a coniferous, evergreen, medium-height, slender, conical, fast-growing tree with a dense, symmetrical crown. It reaches 4-5 m in height and 1-2 m in width. Annual growth: 40-50 cm. The bark is reddish-brown or grayish-brown, smooth. The needles are scaly, dense, and greenish with a bluish tint. The branches are large, thick. Sun-loving. The plant is not particularly demanding on soils. It can grow in both acidic and alkaline, wet and dry soils. It grows well in fresh soils that are not rich in nutrients.
