We care about your data and explain how it is stored and used on the Vendo platform

1. General Provisions

This Policy describes what data we collect, how we use it and with whom we share it when operating the Vendo service (vendo.am).

By using the website or mobile app you accept this Policy and consent to your data being processed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of Armenia.

If you do not agree with any part of this Policy, please stop using the service.

2. What Data We Collect

We collect only the minimum data needed to operate the platform:

  • Name, e-mail, phone number and avatar at registration
  • Listings, photos and conversations with other users
  • Technical data: IP address, device type, app version, interface language
  • Cookies and device identifiers used for security and analytics

3. How We Use Data

Collected information is used solely for legitimate purposes:

  • Creating and maintaining your account
  • Showing listings and enabling messaging between users
  • Protecting against fraud and platform-rule violations
  • Improving the service, analytics and sending important notifications

4. Sharing Data with Third Parties

We do not sell your personal data. Sharing only happens with vetted partners — e.g. payment providers, SMS gateways and cloud storage — strictly to the extent needed for the service to function.

Data may also be disclosed to authorised state bodies upon a lawful request when required by law.

5. Data Storage and Security

We store data on secured servers and use encryption when transmitting information between the user's device and our services.

Retention is determined by the purpose of processing and legal requirements. Deleted listings and messages may be kept in archives for a limited time for safety reasons.

6. Your Rights

You can request access, correction or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@vendo.am.

You may also delete your account in profile settings. Some data may be retained in anonymised form for service-related purposes after deletion.

7. Changes to the Policy

Vendo may update this Policy. The current version is always available at vendo.am/privacy. Material changes will be communicated through the service or by e-mail.
